Covers

People really do judge a book by its cover. It has to stand out on a shelf and as a small thumbnail in an online store, signal the genre at a glance and make the reader curious. We design front covers, spines and back covers, including the arrangement of blurbs and author information.

Interiors

Inside, good book design is almost invisible. We choose typefaces, set comfortable line lengths and margins, and design chapter openings, headings, captions and tables so the content reads clearly.

Magazines and newspapers

Magazine and newspaper layout balances consistency with variety. A strong grid and a clear set of styles give each issue a recognisable identity, while page-by-page layout keeps readers interested. We design templates, mastheads and feature layouts, and can lay out individual issues.

Newsletters and reports
